PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time up to the rise of an image forming device by composing the device so that a process of detecting the quantity of displacement in disposition of each of image carriers and a process of controlling density of each image forming part are performed parallel with each other. SOLUTION: The displacement quantitative detection means performs a process of detecting the quantity of displacement in disposition of each of image carries (photoreceptors in drum units 41Y, 41M, 41C, and 41Bk). The density control means performs a process of controlling density for each of image forming parts (scanner unit 41Y, 41M, 41C, and 41Bk). A control means controls the displacement quantitative detection means and the density control means so that the process of detecting the quantity of the displacement in disposition of each of the image carriers (the photoreceptors in the drum units 41Y, 41M, 41C, and 41Bk) and the process of controlling the density for each of the image forming parts (the scanner units 41Y, 41M, 41C, and 41Bk) are performed in parallel with each other. Based on a program stored in a ROM/RAM or other storage means, a CPU controls the process each of these means performs. |
