PREPAID CARD SYSTEM AND CARD EXCHAGING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exchange prepaid cards which are used and have their balances left with more than one new prepaid card by totalizing the balances. SOLUTION: A user inserts a used prepaid card which has some balance into the card insertion slot of the card exchanging machine 6. The card exchanging machine 6 decides whether or not the prepaid card is normal and displays the total of the balances of inserted prepaid cards at the display part of the card exchanging machine 6 when the cards are normal. Thus, prepaid cards which are used are inserted one after another into the card exchanging machine 6. With a decision button of the card exchanging machine 6 pressed, a reduction process is performed in the card exchanging machine 6 when necessary so as to reach the total balance and more than one prepaid card is discharged from a card discharge opening.
