<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal for storage management of personal data which reads data such as characters and designs described on an optional information source medium, inputs mass data and also communicates them to an optional other device with a portable telephone as a communication medium. SOLUTION: This portable telephone is provided with a reading means 1, a controlling means 2 for the reading means, a processing means 3 for processing a signal read by the means 1, a storing means 4 for data processed by the means 3 and input-output data for the portable telephone, etc., an input switching means 5 selecting the inputting means for data and a storage place storing the above means, reads user identification information, retrieval information, etc., preliminarily described on optional information source media such as a food menu and a system notebook with the reading means by using characters, designs, etc., in addition to an inputting means such as a conventional keys and inputs the read information to the portable telephone.</p> |
