<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of converting a pulverized elastomer to a smaller size by pulverization equipment. SOLUTION: A method of pulverizing an elastomer to a smaller size optionally comprises dipping the elastomer in a first additive. This method comprises further a step of rendering the size of the elastomer smaller to form elastomer particles of at least one first size. This method optionally comprises a step of removing impurities from the elastomer. Further, this method comprises adding a carrier to the elastomer particles to form an elastomer suspension. Further, this method comprises a step of adding a second additive to the suspension. Additionally, this method comprises a step of converting the elastomer particles to a second size which is smaller than the first size. Also, this method comprises a step of recovering the elastomer particles of the second size.</p> |
