PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate wire insertion by positioning a wire insertion inlet of a wire inserting passage bored toward a terminal block with no screw in a lateral direction of the terminal block body in the vicinity of a protruded part provided on the side surface of the terminal block having a terminal with no screw. SOLUTION: The side surface of a terminal block 1 provided with a terminal with no screw operable from the upper surface is preferably divided into an upper side surface 5 and a lower side surface 6 set back from it, and a protruding part 7 is disposed on the boundary part of both surfaces at the lower end of the upper side surface 5. A wire 4 inserted from a wire insertion inlet 3 in the vicinity of the protruding part 7 is wired toward the terminal with no screw 2 through a wire insertion passage laterally bored in the terminal block 1, and no wire to wire around is required. The wire 4 is led to the wire insertion inlet 3 accurately recognized by a worker having his eyes above the terminal block body 1 without hanging the wire 4 over the body. The protruding part 7 is preferably disposed at a descending inclined part 7a extending toward the front, and serves as a guide when inserting the wire.
