PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce processing costs by adopting simple structure in a lock-up device in which a damper mechanism can move in the axial direction with a piston. SOLUTION: This lock-up device 4 for a torque converter 1 comprises a clutch connecting part 40 and a damper mechanism 44. The damper mechanism 44 comprises a plurality of pawls 61, a drive member 50, a driven member 51, a torsion spring 52 and a first piston 43. The plural pawls 61 are fixed to a turbine 11. The driven member 51 has a plurality of pawls 59 engaged to the plural pawls 61 movable in an axial direction and relative by unrotatable. The driven member 51 is positioned in a radial direction by the drive member 50.
