PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the electric conductivity and high-temperature stability of an electrolytic solution and to prevent the leakage out of the solution, by using an electrolyte of a salt composed of a specific oniumic cation and polyhydric organic acid anion as the electrolytic solution. SOLUTION: The oniumic cation (a) of a salt A usually has a frontier electron density fr of 0.6, is high in reactivity against hydroxide ions, and can prevent the leakage out of an electrolytic solution. The ominiumic cation (a) having the density fr of >=0.6 includes those that N atoms or groups containing N atoms are replaced with arsenic atoms, oxygen atoms, sulfur atoms, selenium atoms, etc., in ammonium, etc. Since a polyhydric organic acid having a Pk1 of <=1.8 and Pk2-Pk1 of >=2 when measured by the potentiometric titration method is used as the polyhydric organic acid constituting the anion (b) of the salt A, the electric conductivity of the electrolytic solution is increased due to the high ionic dissociation ability the anion has against the cation. To be concrete, cyclobutene-1,2-dicarboxylic acid, 4-methyl-cyclobutene-1,2- dicarboxylic acid, etc., can be used as the polyhydric organic acid. |
