PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently construct an elevated track such as a new traffic system. SOLUTION: When an elevated track 1 is to be constructed, a new column 2 is erected in the front of the existing track, a new girder 3 is installed between the column 2 and the existing track to extend the track forward. A column member 2a and a girder member 3a are relatively rotatably connected by a pin 7 to form a unit 4, the unit 4 is mounted on a construction device 5 traveling on the existing track and is conveyed to the tip section of the existing track, and the unit 4 is installed in the front of the existing track from the tip section of the existing track. The base end of the girder member 3a is rotatably connected to the tip of the existing track, and the unit 4 is rotated forward around this point. The unit 4 is mounted on the device 5, and a lifting machine 13 holding and rotating the unit 4 forward is mounted on a carriage 12 traveling on the existing track. The carriage is constituted of a front carriage 12a and a rear carriage 12b.
