PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a cleaning effect of a suction pipe and to eliminate shortening of the service lift of a flexible duct and a solenoid valve by eliminating stagnation and clogging of a suction object in the solenoid valve such as a pinch valve or in its vicinity. SOLUTION: In an endoscopic system for controlling opening/closing of a suction pipe arranged in an endoscope by a solenoid valve V5 composed of a pinch valve, a branch pipe 37 is arranged in the middle of the suction pipe 24C on the endoscope tip side from the solenoid valve V5 via a passage directional control valve V7, and a cleaning liquid tank 40 is connected to the branch pipe 37 via a connecting pipe 38. According to this, after using the endoscope, the passage directional control valve V7 is switched to suck a cleaning liquid from the cleaning liquid tank 40 to clean the suction pipe 24C. This cleaning liquid can be controlled so as to automatically flow to the suction pipe 24C by switching the directional control valve V7 every time when suction operation is performed.
