The flame spray gun's connection(9) is constructed so that liquid and gaseous fuels and oxidation gas can be directed separately into the combustion chamber(8). At least one additional non-combustible gas and/or liquid or vapour state operating medium may be fed to the combustion chamber. Carbon dioxide, or an inert gas such as argon, may be added as the non-combustible gas to the fuel and oxygen mixture in the combustion chamber.
