A process for the storage and/or transportation of pure acrylic acid (I) in the form of a liquid aqueous solution is characterized by (A) an acrylic acid concentration of at least 5 wt.% (B) less than 2 wt.% of other chemical compounds (w.r.t. acrylic acid) and (C) a temperature of no greater than 15 deg C. An Independent claim is also included for the aqueous pure acrylic acid solution (I).
