<p>An optical recording medium, the recording density of which can be raised, and which is capable of stably performing a recording/reproducing operation is disclosed. A signal recording layer is formed on a substrate having grooves formed therein. The track pitch of the recording tracks, which are formed along the grooves and in which a recording signal is recorded/reproduced with respect to the signal recording layer, is 1.5 +/- 0.01 mu m, the width of the groove is not less than 730 nm nor more than 800 nm and the depth of the groove is not less than 65 nm nor more than 75 nm. <IMAGE></p> |
