METHOD FOR PRODUCING GUIDE RAIL FOR ELEVATOR

PURPOSE: A method is provided to produce a guide rail for a light elevator having high intensity with a fiber reinforced plastic by drawing-molding. CONSTITUTION: A one-way uni-directional fiber and a roving cross and mat type glass fiber are unfastened each fiber creel(21) and are impregnated in a synthetic resin after passing through a resin tank(22). The fibers are passed through a first, a second and a third guide and have a section similar to the section of the guide rail for an elevator to be produced. Lastly, the fibers are entered in a cure die(26) having a heater and are drawing-molded by heating. After molding, the mat is arranged more outside than the roving cross to decrease the roughness of the guide rail surface.
