PURPOSE: A remote combined building management system is provided to easily add sub systems by using a combined control sub system supplying various communication protocols through input/output hardware structures, and to manage emergent situations by controlling a combined building automatic control system from a remote place using a modem when a manager is absent. CONSTITUTION: A remote combined building management system comprises many node controllers(NCs)(100-105), a programmable logic controller(PLC) and a device(106,107), combined control sub units(110,111), a combined building automatic control system(120), and a host(130). The NCs collect data in each controlling points to transmit the data by using an exclusive protocol. The PLC/the device collect the data in the controlling points to transmit the data by using a non-standard communication protocol. The combined control sub units receives the data from the NCs/the PLC/the device, and change the data into available data required by an upper system to transmit the available data. The combined building automatic control system receives information of the combined control sub units through a transmission control protocol/internet protocol(TCP/IP) Ethernet local area network(LAN) or a LON net, and manages the information. The host receives the data of the combined building automatic control system through a public switched telephone line to store the data, and notifies an emergent alarm.
