PURPOSE: A reception signal indicator is provided to help users recognize a calling signal from a telephone with eyes. CONSTITUTION: A reception signal indicator that is relevant to telephones generating a reception signal when an opponent subscriber is calling, comprises the parts of: a reception lamp support bar that contains prescribed cables for approving a power supply in a reception lamp when the telephone detects a reception signal and supports the reception lamp at a uniform level; a reception lamp support bar operator that moves the reception lamp support bar to make it and the housing of telephone meet at right angles. By applying the device in telephones, when users meet a nosy environment or the elders having a weak hearing sense and the disabled can recognize the states whether telephones get a call. It is enabled by that the reception lamp informing a reception signal comes from a housing of the telephone and emits lights.
