PURPOSE: A scroll compressor is provided to prevent excessive oil supply to a compressing part by discharging a part of oil outside a crank shaft via an oil discharge channel by the operation of a bypass element, thereby increasing volume efficiency of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor includes a rotation scroll(53) and a fixing scroll(51) engaged together for forming a compression chamber and a crank shaft(61) of which end part is coupled with the rotation scroll for moving the rotation scroll and formed with an oil groove(62) in a center part for moving oil supplied by an oil pump, wherein the crank shaft is formed with an oil discharge channel(67) for discharging oil moving through the oil groove outside the crank shaft, and the oil discharge channel is mounted with a bypass element(69) for opening and closing the oil discharge channel according to a rotation velocity of the crank shaft due to a centrifugal force of the oil generated by the rotation movement of the crank shaft.
