PURPOSE: A curtain apparatus having a sound proof construction is provided to achieve an aesthetic enhancement and reduce cost while maintaining original function of curtain. CONSTITUTION: A curtain apparatus comprises a power transmission device support(1) fixed onto a window frame, a power transmission device consisting of a bead string(2), an electric motor(3), a pulley(4), cross-shaped groove axes(5, 7), a sprocket gear, plain gears(6, 9), a male screw(8), and a carrier(11), and which transmits a driving force to rotate a sound proof plate(14) up to 180 degree, the sound proof plate(14) for absorbing the noise from outside and which rotates 180 degree so as to control noise, sunlight, ventilation, and temperature, and a sound proof plate supporting board(18) for supporting the sound proof plate(14) so that a lower end of the plate(14) is not fluttered in the wind when the window is open.
