PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center-of-gravity detector in an information reader capable of detecting the center of gravity by memory access/operation time by limiting the range to be processed. SOLUTION: The center-of-gravity detector in an information reader for reading out an information recording medium, on which multi-media information including audio information, video information, text data, etc., is printed out as an optically readable code pattern, is constituted of a recording part 101 for recording optically read picture data, a processing range regulation part 100 for regulating a picture data range to be processed out of the read picture data and an operation part 102 for executing the operation of the center of gravity based on the picture data recorded in the recording part 101 and the processing target range of the picture data regulated by the regulation part 100. |
