<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head support for a baby carrier usable in common for horizontal holding and vertical holding and capable of protecting a head part without pressing a temple part of a baby at horizontally holding time. SOLUTION: A head guard 39 is joined to a tip part of a support body 33 for receiving the occipital region of a baby in a carrier body 4 so that this head guard 39 can take a functional state of rising to the obverse side of the support body so as to surround a head part of the baby and a nonfunctional state of being folded back to the reverse side of the support body. Shouldering connecting pieces 43, 44 detachably connected to shouldering belts 9, 10 extending from the carrier body are arranged so as to extend to the respective sides of the support body, a through hole 60 is arranged in a joining part of side walls 41, 42 of the head guard 39 and the support body, and positions of the shouldering connecting pieces and the head guard are changed in a functional state and a nonfunctional state of the head guard by inserting the shouldering connecting pieces into the through hole 60.</p> |
