NON-UNIFORM MEMORY ACCESS(NUMA) DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM HAVING SHARED INTERVENTION SUPPORT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-uniform memory access(NUMA) computer system for reducing the number of reading requests between nodes and shortening the queuing time for reading request. SOLUTION: The NUMA computer system 6 includes 1st and 2nd processing nodes to be connected together with each other. The 1st processing node includes 1st and 2nd processors respectively having relative cache hierarchies 14. The 2nd processing node includes at least a 3rd processor and a system memory 18. When the cache hierarchy 14 of the 1st processor stores an unchanged copy of a certain cache line and receives a request to the cache line from the 3rd processor, the cache hierarchy 14 of the 1st processor transmits the requested cache line to the 3rd processor, stores the copy of the cache line in a latest coherent state and then can transmit a cache line in response to a succeeding request.
