PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent connection sections connecting a pivot lever and a link rod from wearing by preventing the water flowing out from a pivot holder from reaching the connection sections in miniaturized, light and simple structure. SOLUTION: In a wiper pivot 1 provided with a pivot shaft 5, which is projected penetrating a vehicle panel 4 from the inside to the outside and at the tip of which a wiper arm 2 is fixed, a pivot holder 6, which is fixed to a car body 41 and rotatably supports the pivot shaft 5, and a pivot lever 7, one end of which is fixed to the lower end of this pivot shaft 5 and which is arranged on the lower side of the vehicle panel 4, the pivot lever 7 is provided with connection sections 70 and 71 on the other side of which a link rod 13 is connected to transmit the swinging motion from a motor 11 to the pivot shaft 5, and a cap member 10, which is secured between these connection sections 70 and 71 and the pivot shaft 5. This cap member 10 has dams which reduce the speed of the water flowing down from the pivot shaft side to the connection sections and a guide sections 52, which are formed in the end sections of the connection sections 70 and 71 and guide the water the flowing speed of which is reduced outside of the connection sides.
