PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic package which can surely mount a connector and manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: The ceramic package 1 has a ceramic body 11, a connector mounting hole 4 for mounting a connector CT, and a metal member 21 which is brazed to the body 11 and has an annular part 22 forming a connector mounting hole 4 periphery. When the connector CT is mounted on the ceramic package 1, the top end CT1 of the connector CT inserted in the mounting hole 4 is inserted in a connector receptacle 12 of the body 11, a connection surface CT2A of the root end CT2 of the connector CT is butted on a connector mounting face 22C of the annular part 22 to position the connector CT. Thus it is possible to connect the connector CT to the ceramic package 1 at a high positional accuracy.
