PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized connector having a structure which cannot be easily deformed by external force generated in attaching/detaching even if bending rigidity per se of a shield case molded into a square tube is low. SOLUTION: An insulating housing 6 for supporting a plurality of contact members 5 is incorporated inside of a rectangular shield case 4 formed by bending a metal plate, and then, it is mounted on a printed wiring board 1. In this case, a pair of fixing wings 4e bent into an L shape are cut and raised under both side walls 4a, 4c near the front end of the shield case 4. A pair of fixed legs 4d are cut and raised at the rear end of the shield case 4. Thereafter, the fixed wings 4e and the fixed legs 4d are soldered to a conductor layer of the printed wiring board 1.
