PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor capable of simplifying work needed for loading and collecting coins and improving reliability. SOLUTION: When a coin bar formed of wrapped fifty coins is loaded into a coin bar paying machine 6, a load start key is inputted through a keyboard 172 of a teller's machine 1a (1b), and self-careful examination processing in the machine 6 is executed. When the self-careful examination processing is finished, a door 73 is unlocked, the number of necessary coin bars each of a prescribed denomination is loaded into a prescribed cassette in the machine 6 and the doors 73 is closed. Then, the self-careful examination processing is executed again by inputting a load end key, careful examination results before the loading are compared with careful examination results after the loading, the amount loaded this time in each denomination is calculated and displayed through the CRT displaying part 173 of the teller's machine. An operator confirms the displayed contents and inputs a completion key on condition that they coincide with the amount loaded by the operator.
