PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-profile transformer for a large current having high insulation property. SOLUTION: A first coil 10a, in which one-turn coil 8 is made of a punched copper plate and is shaped substantially U-shape is put in a frame-shaped box case 1 made of insulating resin and is covered with another frame-shaped box case 11. Another first coil 10b is also put in the other cases 1, 11, as is the case with the first coil 10a. A second coil 17, made by laminating one-turn punched coils shaped substantially U-shaped is put between the first coils 10a, 10b to form the coil portion of a transformer, and this assembly is put in an E-shaped core 18 made of a ferrite to form a transformer for large current.
