PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire for road capable of shading in random range with simple structure without light damage caused by light leakage to residents of the neighborhood of the luminaire for the road and a rice plant and vegetables of fields. SOLUTION: This luminaire for road has a reflecting mirror 20 arranged inside lamp body 11 opened its lower surface and a light source 21. A shading wall 16 positioned behind light center of the light source 21 and under the light source 21 is protrusively integrally formed with the lamp body 11 so as to shade a part of irradiation light backward the lamp body 11. Accordingly, special effect, without light damage caused by light leakage to residents of the neighborhood of the luminaire for the road, shading required area without reduction in coefficient of utilization of road surface by the wall 16 protrusively integrally formed with the lamp body 11 is caused with simple structure without use of other parts.
