SUBSTANCE: method involves grafting, which is carried out in early spring simultaneously with planting of deficit rootstock cutting; planting deficit rootstock cutting at an angle of 30 deg relative to nondeficit rootstock cutting and grafting with apical part on nondeficit rootstock of 8-12 cm height from soil surface. Feeding of deficit rootstock is provided through nondeficit rootstock. Upon rooting of basal part of cutting, it is cut off from rootstock and transplanted into mother material nursery.
