<p>The dispenser, designed to deliver commonly-prescribed medication or pharmaceutical products packed in parallelepiped containers, consists of a cabinet with a series of drawers (9) sliding on horizontal runners (10). The drawers open in response to information carried on a microchip card, e.g. in the form of a doctor's prescription and a pharmacist's code. Preferred Features: The drawers can be re-loaded from the back or from one side of the cabinet, and can have front compartments (11) designed to contain products on free sale.</p> |
