PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard engine that can collect a lubricating oil from a crank chamber to an oil reservoir as quickly as possible. SOLUTION: An outboard engine arranges an oil reservoir under an engine 13 and supplies a lubricating oil in the oil reservoir to an engine crank chamber 30 and also returns the lubricating oil in the crank chamber to the oil reservoir through a returning oil passage to a crank chamber 146. And in the crank chamber of the engine, a crankshaft 24 is placed vertically and the returning oil passage to the crank chamber is opened inside the surface 30a of the crank chamber. |
