PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor required to suture an incision during a surgical operation. SOLUTION: An incision is sutured by performing in order a first process in which either a ram 3 is moved from an initial position toward an anvil 4 by operation of a trigger 5 or a staple 1 is sandwiched between the ram 3 and the anvil 4 and moved to a part to be sutured, a second process in which bending is started for the staple 1 located on the anvil 4, and a third process (final position) in which, as the staple 1 is formed, a tissue is pierced and the staple 1 formed is separated from the anvil 4. The trigger 5 and a main body 6 are provided with respective grooved cams 7, 8 and shafts 9, 10 are provided which fit into the grooved cams. When a grip 5b is operated, the trigger 5 moves and rotates along the grooved cams 7, 8. The distance from the center of rotation to the grip 5b is changed to become greater during the process in which the trigger 5 is displaced from the initial position to the final position. Therefore, large torques can be generated with the same force and suturing operations can be facilitated. |
