PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding and piling device for a sheet-like body capable of automatically folding the end part of the sheet-like body into three to be fixed and making anyone able to easily and accurately change a folding width. SOLUTION: This folding and piling device for the sheet-like body is provided with first and second carrying means 2 (3) for folding and piling the belt-like part of the sheet-like body in the direction of stretching a fold in a longitudinal direction and a working means for mutually fixing two side parts sent to the send-out part of the first and second carrying means 2 (3). Then, in the preceding stage of the second carrying means 2, a guide mechanism 6 for guiding the end part of the sheet-like body so as to be folded and piled to the belt-like part is provided. Further, it is provided with a moving mechanism for making at least one of the first carrying means 2 and the second carrying means (3) movable, an operation panel 9 capable of inputting folding width data and a control means for moving the first and second carrying means 2 (3) corresponding to the set folding width data and changing a relative distance between the introduction parts.
