PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a refrigerant heater which is provided to refrigerant piping so as to quickly heat the refrigerant, and miniaturize the device. SOLUTION: A refrigerant heater comprises a heating portion 16a in which at least one portion of refrigerant piping 20 is rendered to be a magnetic material, a coil 16b which is wound around the outer circumferential surface of the heater portion 16a, and a high frequency power source 16c which is connected to the coil 16b, all of which contribute to constitute the device as a magnetic induction heating type. Though the device is small, refrigerant can be instantly heated to have a high temperature.
