The invention relates to a shelf consisting of sheet metal. Strips which extend into clevis-type connectors are moulded on the bearing surface of the shelf. Said clevis-type connectors have a bearing edge for resting the connectors on the slotted back of a slotted structure of support columns. Recesses on the corners of the shelf encompass the support columns. The strips are adjoined to the bearing surface with upper rounded sections and the clevis-type connectors approximately adjoin the lower edge of said rounded sections. According to the invention, a bead is formed essentially centrally between the upper edge of the clevis-type connectors and their bearing edge and this bead extends beyond the recess and into the lateral strips, at a short distance (a) from the vertical front edge of the connectors. The length of the bead is greater than its width. |
