PURPOSE: A method for implementing a secret number that is easy to be remembered is provided to reduce a risk of hacking and cracking the secret number and generate an easy secret number, by making the secret number comprised of a sentence using a word table determined by a user. CONSTITUTION: A word table(5) with a selected type and size is generated by the user. Each cell(6) of the word table(5) is repeatedly clicked by a point device(80) such as a mouse, and thereby the sentence for generating the secret number is formed. The words which will be inserted into each cell(6) are determined by the user. The words in each cell(6) can be coupled to a bit map image, a moving image file and a sound file which are supplied under a multimedia environment as well as coupled to a text character string. The user inputs his/her ID into an ID input field(1) and presses a confirmation button(4). When the user moves the point device(80) onto a desired cell(6) of the word table(5) and clicks it, the character string of "***" appears in a secret number input field in order to show whether the cell(6) has been clicked.
