CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS DATA COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND METHOD

PURPOSE: A code division multiple access data communication apparatus is provided to transmit more data by reducing the CRC portion with the LTU production and separation using a 12-bit CRC. CONSTITUTION: A multiplexing sub-hierarchical controller(312) controls overall operations of a multiplexing sub-hierarchical layer. A first memory stores the number of logic transmission units according to a transmission speed. A counter(315) stores what place the present logic transmission unit is in the production and separation job of the logic transmission unit. A second memory stores the number of the logic transmission units carried in the presently transmitted/received physical channel frame pay load. A CRC producer(317) calculates the CRC with respect to the pay load of the logic transmission units.
