PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a disk recording device which is capable of recording information matched with a format regardless of the arrangement of recording means while the recording is conducted by plural recording means against a disk shaped recording medium having multispiral tracks, SOLUTION: If arrangements of optical pickups OP6 and OP8 of an optical disk recording device are matched with the angular relationship of the data of a recording format, but the angular arrangement of optical pickups OP5 and OP7 is different, the recording data of the pickups OP5 and OP7 are delayed by delaying means 6 and 7. Thus, the data arrangement to be recorded on an optical disk 1 is matched with a recording format.
