PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selection method by which operations of mode selection or image selection or the like can easily be conducted without the need of a selection switch and a selection button and to provide an electronic image pickup device that can realize the selection method as above. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal screen 40' displays a menu (or a picture) for a function (mode) selection. When a user turns an image pickup section 110, a cursor is moved on a display position of the menu (or the picture or the like) in following to its turning angle. When the user operates a selection decision key (a shutter button 37 in this embodiment) in the case that the cursor is placed on a desired menu (or a picture), a mode (or a picture) is selected and the processing corresponding to the mode is progressed. |
