PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antireflection film such that when visual information is to be observed through transparent substrates of various displays or an image reflected from a mirror is to be observed through transparent substrates, reflection of light on the surfaces of transparent substrates is prevented and visual information or the like can be clearly read. SOLUTION: This antireflection film consists of a medium refractive index layer, a high refractive index layer and a low refractive index layer formed in this order on a transparent base film with a hard coat layer interposed. The medium refractive index layer consists of a binder and superfine particles having >=1.5 refractive index. The high refractive index layer consists of metals or oxides, nitrides or sulfides of metals and has absorption in the visible ray region and electrical conductivity. The low refractive index layer consists of SiO2. The thickness of the layers is 30 to 100 nm, 2 to 10 nm and 50 to 110 nm, respectively. |
