PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a stable feeling and a safety feeling and to easily travel over a step by supporting a legless chair main body by means of an elevating/ lowering device so as to be elevating/lowering possible on a travelling device having left and right crawler devices. SOLUTION: This travelling device 1 is constituted by arranging left and right crawler devices 11 and 12 on a travelling machine base 10. The both crawler devices 11 and 12 are constituted by disposing crawlers 15 made by rubber or the like over between front driving wheels 13 and rear driven wheels 14. A lower guide roller 16 is arranged in a lower transfer part by the elastic support of a spring and an upper guide roller 17 is in an upper transfer part. A driving motor 18 is disposed in the driving wheels 13 and operated by the travelling lever 40 of an operation box 4. A seat chair body 2 having a seat part 21 and a seat back part 22 is attached by the elevating/lowering device 3 consisting of left and right pantographs 30 and 30. Thus, the center of gravity is lowered, the stable and safety feelings are improved and also the legless chair can go over the step.
