<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable pointing irrelevantly to a difference in resolution between a screen and an image by calculating the position of final pointing from a position on the image and position correction information related to a template. SOLUTION: A block 110 is a pointing device and a display device and coordinates are inputted from it to an image processing engine 130. The image processing engine 130 inputs the input coordinates from the pointing device, templates, and an original image 140 and outputs proper pointing coordinates to a trailing-stage device 150. An image nearby the coordinates obtained from the pointing device is compared with the images of the templates to find the most matching template and its position on the image, and the position of final pointing is calculated from the position on the image and position correction information (position information on a hot spot) related to the template.</p> |
