PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the operator from accident to fall off in the water bleeding works of a working table. SOLUTION: A vehicle for high lift work is equipped with a mode changeover switch 33 to make selective changing-over between the leveling mode to maintain horizontal the floor surface of a working table (bucket) and an angular mode to perform water bleeding, etc., by tilting the bucket, an over-part works sensing means 23 to sense that operator(s) is in the bucket, and a bucket tilt restricting device 31b to restrict the tilt of the bucket, whereby the angle varying motion of the bucket is restricted when any operator is in the bucket. Also an operation device changeover switch 34 is installed to make changing-over between an upper operation device 22 and a lower operation device 32, and the mode changeover switch 33 is made valid only when the lower operation device is solely selected while the switch 34 is made valid only when the leveling mode is selected by the changeover switch 33.
