PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance workability by lowering the height of the upper surface of a fixed plate. SOLUTION: In an electromotive vertical injection molding machine, when a drive motor for an ejector is operated, the nut members 35, 35 for the ejector are mutually synchronously rotated through a drive pulley, a timing belt 42 and a follower pulley 40 to move the screw shafts 37, 37 for the ejector provided to an ejector bar 44 having ejector pins 38 up or down in the same quantity. Since the screw shafts 37 for the ejector are provided on the lateral side of a screw shaft 22 for mold clamping so that a part of them is made parallel to the upper ends of the screw shaft 22 for mold clamping, the contact possibility of the screw shafts 37 with the screw shaft 22 at a time of up and down movement is eliminated and the height of the upper surface of a fixed plate is lowered at least by the length of the portions made parallel to the screw shaft 22 for mold clamping.
