摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably support large brake torque by forming a hole piercing in the axial direction of a rotor, in a caliper claw, while providing a back plate constituting an outer pad, with a protruding part to be fitted into the hole, and allowing the tip part of a base part fixed to the back plate, to abut on the inner peripheral surface of the hole under elastic energization. SOLUTION: At the time of braking, pressure oil is fed into a cylinder 15, and an inner pad 4 is pressed to the inner side face of a rotor by a piston 21. With its reaction, a caliper 9 is displaced along each guide rod 11, and a caliper claw 13 presses an outer pad 14 to the outer side face of the rotor 1. The rotor 1 is therefore clamped by linings 7a, 7b of both pads 4, 14 to brake. Brake torque applied to the outer pad 14 at this time is transmitted to the caliper claw 13 through engagement between a protruding part 17 formed at a back plate 5b of the outer pad 14, and a circular hole 16 formed in the caliper claw 13, to support brake torque to a suspension device through a support 2. Large brake torque can therefore be supported.</p>
