PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply obtain a working surface of a hot plate responsive to physical properties of a plate body to be heated and pressurized or hated and dried by accumulating fine plates having narrow widths to constitute the plate. SOLUTION: The hot plate is constituted by accumulating a plurality of fine plates 1 having narrow widths through connecting members in an aligned state, and arraying heat conducting members at the respective fine plates 1, The hot plate 5 is formed with protrusions over a lengthwise direction of an upper end and/or a lower end of each fine plate 1 in response to its plate body heated and pressurized or heated and dried, set with an air gap 7 between the plates 1 or between the arbitrary plates 1, and the plates 1 are position- adjustably set in a vertical direction, steam generated by a heating operation of the woody plate body inserted between the plates 5 is expedited to be dissipated into the atmosphere while preventing its plastic deformation or a damage in association with the stress of the plate body as much as possible.
