PURPOSE: An electric bicycle is provided to vary optionally charge and output by substituting irrational points of output adjustment by electronic device or manual with mechanical operation according to increase and decrease of load applying on the bicycle. CONSTITUTION: During travelling a down slope, extra kinetic energy delivered from a tire(91) of bicycle to a frictional gear(5) is induced into a charge mode by a housing(65) rotating. A contact terminal(31) and a contact rod(32) of transmission operate generation system with automatic contact. A drive device advances frontward by rotation of wheels and automatically converts to the charge mode by the contact terminal. For mechanically inducing automatic conversion into charge mode, elastic members function properly. In case of applying powerful strength to the frictional gear(5) during maintaining the tire(91) and the frictional gear under a suitable pressure state, the housing(65) of the drive device rotates with a specific angle and three contact terminals enabling a contact link to be a charge mode are contacted with the housing.
