PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger wherein heat transfer performance of a fin is improved and heating capability is prevented from being reduced owing to clogging by frosting. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger includes a refrigerant flow passage trough which a refrigerant flows, and many fins 2 which make contact with and intersect an outer peripheral surface of the refrigerant flow passage and form a gap wherein fresh air and a refrigerant passing through the gap heat exchange. In the heat exchanger, there is provided a corrugation forming portion 2a in which an inlet side end of the fin 2 into which fresh air flows is formed into a gathered fashion.
