PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor superior in film strength, resistances to deposition and abrasion and scratching, by including in a photosensitive layer a polymerized compound of a hole transfer compound having two or more chain-polymerizable functional groups in the same molecule. SOLUTION: The photosensitive layer of this photoreceptor contains a compound obtained by polymerizing a hole transfer compound having >=2 chain- polymerizable functional groups in the same molecule represented by formula I in which A is a hole transfer group; each of P1 and P2 is, independently, a chain-polymerizable functional group; Z is an optionally substituted organic group; each of (a), (b), and (d) is 0 or an integer of >=1, and a+b×d>=2, and when a>=2, each of plural P1 may be the same or different, and when b>=2, each of Z and P2 may be the same or different. The hole transfer compound obtained by substituting the sites combining A and P1 and Z for H atoms is represented by formulae II or III.
