WAVEGUIDE SLOT ANTENNA AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable waveguide slot antenna and also to provide a method for producing the antenna. SOLUTION: A dielectric layer 1 is formed together with the metallic conductor layers 2a and 2b which cover the surface 1a and the back 1b of the layer 1 respectively. Then a radiation waveguide 5 has at least a single open radiation slot 4 and plural waveguides 5 are arrayed on the layer 2a which covers the surface 1a. In such a constitution of a waveguide slot antenna 10, the waveguides 5 adjacent to each other are separated from each other by a slit 7 which pierces through the surface 1a and the back 1b of the layer 1 and where an internal conductor wall 8 is formed to electrically connect together both layers 2a and 2b covering the surface 1a and the back 1b of the layer 1 respectively.
