<p>Polyamines are produced by mixing aniline and HCHO in the presence of an acid catalyst, to start their condensation and continuing the reaction to produce a reaction mixture and recycling part of three reaction mixture to a reaction zone is a proportion and at a temp. chosen to maintain the temp. in each zone at =70 degrees C. The fraction of mixture recycled based on total feed is between 1:1 and 50:1, pref. between 2:1 and 30:1. Between the mixing and reaction zones cooling zones may be interposed.
