PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the protection and security of data in a non-contact type IC card in various application systems by registering system codes peculiar to the non-contact IC card and a reader/writer for each application system. SOLUTION: Power is supplied to a non-contact IC card 20 by making the IC card 20 closer to a reader/writer 10 so as to send commands from the reader/ writer at specified time intervals. With this power supply, the respective parts of the IC card 20 operate, receive the commands and transmit ID data registered in a specified area similarly to the system code registered in the specified area of an EEPROM 27 built in the IC card 20 to the reader/writer 10. Thus, the protection and security of data in the non-contact type IC card 20 in various application systems can be secured. |
